18 THINGS TO PUT IN A SURVIVAL KIT

2 BandAids

Peroxide swabs

Iodine swabs

1 Triangular BandAid

Small bag with 10 bullion cubes

1 Bottle water purifying tablets

Matches in a water tight bag (Ziploc bags work great!)

5-Feet of aluminum foil folded tightly

Small knife

Hot Sparks Kit in case you run out matches  This can be obtained from an Army/Navy Store.  It is a piece of flint with a piece of steel that you hit together to make a spark.  Comes in handy if your matches get wet or you forgot your lighter.

1 Fire starter stick

Small strip of marking tape

Salt

2 Survival candles (Emergency Candles)

Assorted hooks

2-4 energy bars

Assorted split shot

You should be able to fit all these items in a small water tight container, 3" x 6" long.  The container should be made of plastic or light metal.  It should be able to hold water and also keep supplies dry, such as a small coffee can.
