You will encounter numerous sections on safety while viewing this site. Safety notices specific to different sabbing situations will be contained on the page detailing that action. This page should not be taken lightly. If you are injured or killed during a sab, you don't become a martyr—you become a statistic. Posing as a hunter, I have conducted an unscientific poll of hunters regarding their reactions to various tactics employed for sabbing purposes. While most would find a game warden and report you or find some other hunting spot, there are some who have "jokingly" stated that they might have to cause a hunting accident. I have yet to encounter a hunter who has not admitted to doing a little poaching or having friends or family that engage in poaching. At least one hunter I interacted with had no problem talking about using stray dogs as bow hunting practice. Hunters often drink while hunting.
