Illegal Territory

Up

First, before we begin, we cannot stress enough that the AHSA in no way encourages you or anyone to engage in illegal activities.  Beyond this point is dangerous territory. The views of this author are not necessarily those of the AHSA. We suggest you go buy a bigger TV and bury yourself in sitcoms….

"I am against illegal tactics, unless they are done at night and with your parents permission."

Edward Abbey

``Oh people, know that you have committed great sins. If you ask me what proof I have for these words, I say it is because I am the
punishment of God. If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.''

Hunting is not very expensive. When you add up the cost of a standard rifle, ammo, and some surplus camouflage, some people pay less than $500 to start. Others waste thousands to get the prettiest gear.   As with anything, hunting will decline if it becomes more expensive. With strategically conducted economic sabotage, you, as an individual, can help make hunting too expensive or too frustrating for most recreational hunters in your area of operation.

(If you are very vocal about your anti-hunting beliefs, don't work close to home.)

The typical hunting vehicle
some are camouflaged, some have attached hunting tripods, but all are subject to advanced sabbing techniques

All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's) are some of the more vulnerable and expensive toys:  The engine is easily accessible on most current models, and don't forget the tires.  But most of all, don't forget the differential.
(Most hunters are badly out of shape.  If you are going to destroy his ATV, it may be better to do a good job and make sure his toy breaks close to help rather than let him have a heart attack on a 15 mile hike when his little toy finally gives out deep in the woods.  Additionally, never tamper with brakes.)

Hunting stands, a.k.a. hunting blinds
cut it down, burn it, dismantle it, urinate on it, roll it over a cliff, or coat it with repellant scents (or all of the above).  This may also be a good spot to store the corn from feeders to aid the mice population.

Feedersmost common for large herbivores, feeders are typically 55 gallon drums on a tripod with a timer mechanism on the base which can be accidentally shot in the field (usually located less than 200 yards from the stand in a direct line).  Rumor has it that the image of corn flying from the hole made by a 12 gauge shotgun is quite rewarding,  Just make sure to pick up those shell casings.  Feeders also come equipped with a ladder to add more grain.  Scents, repellants, etc. can be added to the feed or poured over the entire structure.

One recent trend is to place a camera in the vicinity of the feeder to record animals visiting the site.  These cameras are hard to spot and are motion activated. Note: the grain used in feeders often is not only unfit for human consumption, but it may not be allowed for livestock. Deer and Elk in the purple states have tested positive for Chronic Waste Disease (mad cow)

Your local hunting supplymany stores such as Wal*Mart, outdoor sporting outfitters such as Academy and Oshmans, and some specialty shops sell everything Bubba needs to destroy wildlife.  Why not return the favor?  Hunting scents are repulsive.  Dropping a bottle will often clear a store.  Fox and deer urine are bad, but stink bait for catfish is evil, vile shit.  Plate glass windows and after-hours plumbers are very expensive.  Remember, most stores operate on a very slim profit margin. *

*Some people have used a tactic known as "Hyper-boycotting."  This tactic involves removing items that you need for hunt sabbing or other needs from a store specifically because a store sells hunting supplies or some other offensive product.  A few warnings:  Whatever your justification, the police, the store, and a jury will call this shop lifting.  Second, NEVER steal fire arms; there are extreme penalties for both the act and possession of a stolen firearm.
